Dr. Glynetta Fletcher, professionally known as Fletch, is an educator, author of He Is Not a Gladiator, and founder of Edutects LLC, a consulting firm focused on creating, designing and building school infrastructures that are student and teacher-centered that focuses on boys of color in schools and organizations.
Fletch's work confronts a hard truth: too many institutions reward survival skills while overlooking the weight young men carry. Through professional dialogue, curriculum and school literature audits, book talks , parent coaching, social emotional worksops, she helps educators imagine a new system design that moves beyond discipline-driven models toward relationship-centered systems.
Drawing from lived experience and years in education, she guides schools in examining policies, curriculum, and adult mindset, asking not just how students perform, but how they are positioned. Her approach blends strategy with story, structure with soul. She believes schools should function as sanctuaries, not stages.
