About me
Dr. Travis D. Brandy is a life-long educator, who has spent the last 20 years working in public education, having served communities in a variety of area in Los Angeles. Dr. Brandy began his career as a special education teacher at a Washington Preparatory High School before serving as an administrator in the division of special education. Since, he has been a high school assistant principal, served as both middle and high school Principal, Director of Secondary Instruction, and Administrator of the Hollywood Community of Schools. Dr. Brandy joined the Educational Transformation Office as an Administrator of Instruction supporting instructional operations and partnerships where is supporting the acceleration of student outcomes at the Priority Schools, before assuming the role of Sr. Director of Black Student Initiatives.
